Casa-Gambia in a team of six in partnership with Change the Game Academy and Wilde Ganzen took part in this year’s Training of Trainers in Ethiopia among other participating Organizations hosted by the Development Expertise Center DEC Ethiopia from the 5th – 16th June 2023. The training of trainers availed us the opportunity to learn and interact during the training with different NGOs, CSOs, and CBOs committed to similar objectives and changes in societies.
Three of our members participated in the Mobilizing Support training, which focused on key highlights of how Organizations can incorporate the approach of Mobilization Support to involve beneficiaries and stakeholders in addressing social issues, which further strengthens the capacity of a sustainable implementation process of organizations’ and communities’ goals and objectives.
The other three members participated in the Local fundraising training which aims to equip and build capacities of local CSOs CBOs and NGOs to raise funds within their operational communities. It gave participants insights to possible avenues to explore community and local driven development projects that will be sustainable, owned, and monitored by their beneficiaries. This will create a ripple effect in knowledge, skills, and attitude building, hence promote mobilising resources locally.
Thanks to Change the Game Academy, Wilden Ganzen Foundation and Development Expertise Center for being a great host in Ethiopia, and all participated organizations for a great session of learning, growth and experience.
