CASA Gambia has signed a partnership agreement with Stichting Brufut Vooruit (SBV) and Foundation Brufut Forward (FBF) for the renovation and expansion of Brufut Health Genter Maternity Ward yesterday at our office in Brufut.
For the purposes of the present partnership agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings:
(a) Lead Partner: CASA-Gambia the project partner who takes the overall responsibility for completing fundraising activities and the implementation of the entire project.
(b) Project partner (Stakeholders): Brufut Vooruit Foundation (SBV), Foundation Brufut Forward (FBF), Brufut Diaspora Association (BDA), contractors and all the other partners participating in the project and contributing to its implementation according to the project plan.
(c) Project participants: All individuals and organisations that participate in the project implementation process.
(d) Project observers: actors that do not contribute to the implementation of the project in terms of financial contributions or daily management, but are invited by the project participants to take part in the project in an observant role or advisory capacity.
The present partnership agreement shall lay down the arrangements regulating the relations among the project participants in order to successfully implement the renovation and expansion of Brufut maternity and Labor Ward and to ensure compliance with the conditions set out by funding agencies and the government of the Gambia through the Ministry of Health (MoH).
